On Stage: Duddie Mancini & Salomé Fromonteil
Grand public opening concert. A thrilling live Tango concert dedicated to the most admired hero of today's Tango: Astor Piazolla (1921 – 1992). This concert is meant to enlighten any music and tango lover both dancers and not dancers!
Hyperion ensemble’s tribute to the genius of Astor Piazzolla: It was in autumn 1992, 30 years ago, when Hyperion ensemble performed his 1st concert, entitled “Hommage a Astor Piazzolla”, in La Spezia, Italy; this was the beginning of a long career that brought the ensemble in 27 countries with more than 1200 concerts in Theaters and Festivals. This evening in Munich, the Ensemble wants to celebrate his 30th years of activity with a new tribute to the great composer, one century after his birth.
To roll out the full fascination of tango, the concert will culminate in a spectacular live Tango Show danced by Duddie Mancini & Salomé Fromonteil.
